Common Items People Get Wrong
Plastic Bags
Usually NOT accepted curbside. Take to store collection bins instead.
Greasy Food
Food-soiled cardboard or paper is usually not recyclable. Compost or trash it.
Glass
Accepted in some areas, excluded in others. Always check locally.
Use e-waste or retail take back programs. Almost never go in curbside bins.
Electronics
Batteries
Do not place in curbside bins. Use battery recycling drop off locations.
